hello，Formula 1 is the friction coefficient formula in the references, and formula 2 is the built-in formula of OpenVSP software. Formula 1 takes into account the effect of Mach Number on the coefficient of friction, which I think is more reasonable, why OpenVSP doesn't adopt it.
