v3.29 propeller rotation bug

Hi

I found bug(maybe?) about vspaero propeller mode.

I add prop geom in sketch pad GUI.

And I used 'XZ planner' in 'Symmetry' tab

increased 'YLoc' to make interval between propellers

used 'Rotating Blades' tab of 'Propeller Representation'.

This bug was found only 3.29 ver

When I using v3.28, it worked well.

Is any new different way to rotating propellers or just bug?

I think this is an issue that's been identified between the GUI and VSPAERO writing the *.groups file.  If you manually adjust the groups file to include the correct components as rotors, it will still work.

Thanks for bringing this up.  I'm working on a solution.  Hopefully it'll be fixed in the next version -- which should be out soon.

I'm sorry about this bug.  I was not able to work out a fix for 3.30.0 (just released).

The workaround for now is to copy/paste your propellers and to not model them using symmetry in OpenVSP.

The root problem is some ongoing changes to VSPAERO.  We'll get it sorted when the dust settles, but this is going to be broken for a little while.
