reading Airfoil .dat format file doesn't working

Hi everyone,

I was trying to import .dat file of  "CLARK-Y 11.7% smoothed (clarkysm-il)" airfoil by 'read file' in Airfoil section, but it seems not working(Nothing is changed).

I download both Lednicer and Selig format dat file of it from Airfoil Tools, but none of them are working. I also tried NACA airfoil but it doesn't working either.

Is anyone know how to solve this problem?

VSP uses an .af format file.

It will read DAT files too.  Just need to be in the right order.  Sometimes the formats from the online databases aren't quite what OpenVSP wants to read.  I just imported both the source and Selig formats to a new VSP wing without error.  

I also checked and downloaded the Clark-Y 11.7% Smoothed you specify from Airfoil Tools and it reads in fine.  You're using 3.28.0 so you shouldn't be having this issue.  Can you post an example model?

Here is .vsp3 file of my model. I want to import airfoil in Main Wing, which is substituted to NACA 4 digit for now.

Can you try import AF file in this model? thank you.
