CDo from Parasite Drag Tool (PDT) and VSPAero

Need clarity on one thing. Will the value of CDo obtained from VSPAero be always less than the value of CDo obtained from Parasite Drag Tool because of the inclusion of form factor equations (FF), coefficient of friction (Cf) and scaling factor (Q)?

Not strictly.

The VSPAERO CD0 includes a form factor and Cf equation.  They are different equations, but the results should generally be similar.

VSPAERO only knows about the components it knows about.  You might include various things in the parasite drag tool that you leave out of the VSPAERO model -- landing gear, tires, antannae, etc.  All of these will add to the drag, but will not be in VSPAERO.

HI
i have a question,
as per my knowledge the VLM/PM is inviscud, which means that it will include induced drag only, how is Cd0 being cakculated then? is it the same logic that parasite drag tool utilizes?
