Simulating hypersonic flow

Hello,

Is hypersonic flow simulation possible using OpenVSP? I know that the wave drag calculations are possible, but is VSPAero capable of simulating the shock waves and compressible flow ?

No, VSPAERO can only model linearized supersonic flow.

Similarly, the wave drag calculation is based on theory that isn't intended to be extended to hypersonic speeds.
