Missing .lod file

Hi,

Looks to me that vspaero is not generating the .lod file even when I select and run DegenGeom… before.  This is what I get into the Terminal window:

ERROR 7: Could not open Load file: /Volumes/Other/janos/Documents/Projects/OpenVsp/Fuselage FX 79-W-470A_DegenGeom.lod
File: /Users/travis/build/ramcdona/OpenVSP/src/geom_core/VSPAEROMgr.cpp  Line:2406

What should I do to have the .lod file generated?  I looked the Youtube video and read the VSPAero manual, but I do not see any obvious thing I missed in the setup.

My .vsp file is a little unique, it is a wing of eight sections on both side with no control surfaces made from FX 79-W-470A airfoil profiles and the Top view wants to be a circle.

As you can see it did not finish the 5 iterations.

Hi János, 

could you find a solution to this problem? I also get this error while using the python API for running the VSPAERO with the Panel Method Analysis, by generating a CFDMesh.

At present, panel method does not create a *.lod file.  Only the thin-surface mode does.

Thank you, yeah I read about it in your posts in the group. 
There was a problem in my code, which prevented the VSPAERO to run the PM analysis through the API. Finally, it worked.
