I have been trying to run a pure propeller analysis in VSPAero for a while now and need local coefficients and angle of attack for each time step. I found the Thrust and torque coefficients in the .rotor file but I have been unable to figure out how the coefficients are calculated and how to get to forces and moments. I think I get pretty close for thrust with the equation in the attached image. Is this correct? I also haven't been able to find the equation for local torque/moment. With airfoil data its possible to get the local angle of attack but is there a more direct way to get it with the data that is available. I have attached a txt file with the data for one time step for both blades and the total blade loads at the bottom. Can I get some help finding these values.
