Duct Fan Design and Aero Analysis

Hi,

I want to do some analysis for duct fan. _SCY2VML0SK4U%C6}I94@A7.png

For example, like this duct fan, but I am not sure if openvsp support this because I do not find any videos or turtorials about this.

And further more, can we do some aero analysis for part pf the lilium aircraft?

the series of duct fan are on the control surface and they have different angle when doing missions. But all works I do before are abour propeller, no about duct fans.

By the way, is there good open source software for duct fan design and analysis?

I recommend you look for DFDC - for a ducted fan specific tool

There are some things you could do in OpenVSP and VSPAERO to model a ducted fan, but you should start with a more simple case and build up experience there first.
