Hello,

I have been attempting to import a custom-made airfoil section into OpenVSP for the past few days, but I've encountered issues with the trailing edge. Despite adhering to the known working file format, I still face problems when trying to replicate it. The attached images highlights the issues I am experiencing, and that is that on the trailing edge, it does not fully converge. I've also attached to this the files that I've been using, the '...example.dat' file was the one after I've tried to replicate the format (that one works just fine), and I've also attached my initial data set (that was taken from CATIA) and the proceesed (normalized and shifted airfoil to match the format).

Could somebody please tell me if I am doing anything wrong? if I try to run an analysis with this geometry, the solver does diverge because of that.

Thank you!

OpenVSP is detecting your airfoil as the Selig format.

The first line of the Selig format is a comment that is a description of the airfoil.  You don't have that line.

Consequently, OpenVSP reads the first line (which is the upper surface trailing edge) as the description and then starts reading points at the next point on the upper surface.
