Hello everyone,

In wave drag analysis, I previously used OpenVSP 3.45.0 (win64) successfully for several models that included inlet and exhaust flow-through components. The results were sensible and consistent.

After switching to OpenVSP 3.47.0 (win64), I tried running the wave drag module on the same models without any modifications, but I now receive the following error:

"Error: Ambiguous flow-through subsurface detected"

I also tested one of the wave drag sample cases provided by Rob McDonald (available at https://groups.google.com/u/2/g/openvsp/c/_0IXNFHV11I/m/nP7JYqwgAQAJ), and I encountered the exact same error.

This is puzzling because the only changes since my last successful run are:

Upgrading the operating system from Windows 7 to Windows 11, and
Updating OpenVSP from version 3.45.0 to 3.47.0.

I am currently unable to obtain correct wave drag results for models that include flow-through subsurfaces (such as intakes and exhausts).
