The game of Cat and Mouse with SPAM continues....

I used to allow anyone to join this group and post freely.  This flexibility was abused by SPAM Bots, so I added the restriction that you had to request membership.  If you wrote a reasonable message indicating that you are a human who knew what OpenVSP was, I would let you in.  The Bots typically left the message blank.  That worked until recently.

In the past two days, we've had two new members sign up (with reasonable request messages) and almost immediately they've posted SPAM to the list (I'm pretty sure we aren't interested in a group buy for gutter cleaning).  The first time, I thought it was a real person whose email was hacked.  However, two nearly identical incidences is not a coincidence.

So, I've now turned on post moderation for new members.  Hopefully this will work for a while.

Apologies for the SPAM -- and apologies for the hassle and delays for everyone else.
