I feel like I'm missing something, in older versions of VSP you could define control surfaces on the wing under the airfoil tab, where can you do this in the latest version?

Thanks,
Amanda

You can't do that in the same way in version 3.X.

I wasn't entirely happy with how it was done in 2.X, so we've held off
implementing that sort of thing until it can be done once and for all.

In the interim, if you can use an airfoil read in from file, you could
deflect the points outside of VSP and use those.

Alternatively, you might check out the Subsurface capability.
Depending on what you want to do with control surfaces, that may be a
really good option. Subsurfaces are detailed in AIAA 2015-1016 which
was presented in January. Let me know if you can't get access to that
paper.
