Hello, I am wondering if it is possible to define a list of specific Mach and ReCref pairs? If I want to look at takeoff/landing and cruise cases I need to run VSPAERO separately. If I set up 2 Mach figures and 2 ReCref figures I end up running 4 cases - which for general condition sweeps is sensible.

I have seen that by editing the .vspaero file I can specify specific values in cases, so I dont have to use the linear interpolated cases between the start and end for each flow condition. But VSPAERO will still run the full grid of conditions provided.

So is there a shortcut to save restarting the analysis for specific cases?

Apologies if I have missed this being asked already - a quick search didnt throw up anything obvious.

Many thanks

It sounds like you want to ensure that your Mach and Re scale together as you change Mach number.  The ReCref value doesn't affect the potential solution and should only be used in the calculation of the flat plate parasitic drag component in the results (CD0).  If you really wanted to, you could script the inputs for Mach and ReCref and run single cases but I'm guessing that you just want to sweep Mach in the GUI.  Try holding Mach constant and only sweeping ReCref.  Do your results change?  If not, leave the value at something reasonable for your aircraft and only sweep Mach.
