Step/igs file to open vsp file.

How to convert a cad model step/igs file to vsp file, when I was converted it was in mesh form, I need in vsp form which I can make surface changes in openvsp. Please help out.

OpenVSP does not read IGES/STEP files.  Bringing meshes into VSP act as references or targets to fit VSP components to either manually or with Fit Model.  In some cases, you may also bring a closed mesh in from another program to try VSPAERO Panel mode, though I don't recommend it unless you really know what you're doing.
