Hi there! As a school project, I am designing a DLG glider. I came across OpenVSP to simulate aerydynamics which I taught was a great idea to see if my design would actually fly. Only problem is now when I run the VSPAERO Solver I get weird results. Unrealistic most of the times. L/D's of 0,23, negative drag numbers and Cp clices that are all over the place. I've watched a few tutorials and looked at some other forums but I couldn't find a working solution / answer.

If anyone would like to help me I would really appreciate it!

Thank you in advance!

PS: I've included the .vsp3 file so you could take a look at my model.

Your largest issue is that you're using the 'Shown' Set for both Thick and Thin.

If you instead put your fuselage in a Set for thick components, and your lifting surfaces in a Set for Thin -- and then set VSPAERO accordingly, you get something like this.

Oh thank you! I must have missed that somehow.

Thank you for your assistance!
