Hi everyone,

I noticed that in the .stab output file, the default step size for alpha and beta-derivatives is listed as 1 deg, whereas for p, q, and r, it is 1 rad/Tunit. I tried to adjust the step size but couldn't find it anywhere on the GUI. Is it possible to change the step size through the .vspaero input file or the OpenVSP command line?

Thanks!

Cindy

No, it is hard coded in the source.

Have you tried the adjoint derivatives?  Those are analytical without any step size.

Hi Rob, I have not. I am currently using OpenVSP 3.43.2 -- does this version have the adjoint capability?

No, you'll need to use 3.46.0 to use it.
