Hi,
I'm pretty new to VSP, I'm trying to build the geometry of an aircraft and to run calculations on it for my university, and I need to do it on VSP. The thing is I can't seem to find any option nor any help on internet on how to make an elliptical wing on VSP.
I saw that there was a problem regarding blending functionalities on VSP 3.4, is that the same problem preventing bulding an elliptical wing?
Thank you in advance

Mostafa,

Yes, the blending function is the missing capability that will eventually support curved leading and trailing edges.  Right now, wings can only be created with straight leading or trailing edges.  Depending on your need, you may be able to add an appropriate number of straight segments to approximate an elliptical wing.

Thanks Rob for the information,
I was considering going through another CAD program and using VSP-Aero module afterwards for calculations.Do you have any idea if VSP-Aero supports blendings.

VSPAERO will support anything you feed it in a discretized model.

However, VSPAERO is very tightly tied to OpenVSP's DegenGeom file
format, which nothing else writes out.

Since you are targeting VSPAERO, your eventual aerodynamic model will
have to approximate the curved planform with straight segments. This
is entirely consistent with the kind of thing you could do with some
care in OpenVSP.
