For some reason your messages were flagged by Google for approval -- I didn't notice this until recently.

It looks like your more recent messages are coming through fine, so my apologies to everyone that these messages came through late and out of order.

Hi all,

I'm working on building an aerodynamic database for a VTOL tail-sitter that relies heavily on propeller slipstream for attitude control during ascent. It appears that VSPAERO can handle propeller-blown wing simulation during non-static condition (free-stream velocity is not zero) and some validation data was published in a recent paper. However, I wonder if it is possible to perform the same simulation but with zero free-stream velocity as it would be during vehicle hover.

I'd imagine that I can set Vinf to be zero and cut off any Cl on wing sections that are not in the propeller slipstream, but I'm not quite sure if this is the proper way to go.

You should be able download a large variety of OpenVSP models from the OpenVSP Hangar.

If you managed to download OpenVSP, you should be able to download a model -- or make your own model.

Your email activity is getting flagged as spam -- and I can see that it looks suspicious.  Email addresses with numbers in the domain, using one address with a female name 'Lisa Baron' and then telling me to send a message to a 'vincent' is all very suspicious.

There are times and places where being anonymous or using pseudonyms is fun - or even vital for safety.  However, this is a professional environment where we generally try to identify ourselves truthfully.
