Rotating blade and actuator disk won't work with wing in panel method

Why can't panel method cannot model a wing and an actuator disk, or wing and rotating propeller blades?

I have no trouble with panel method and actuator disk...

But it is not working for me with rotating blades with the default file format.  If you switch to the 'alternate file format' on the advanced tab, I was able to get it to work.

I suspect this is because of a mistake I made in updating OpenVSP to the new VSPAERO for 3.29.0.  I will look into it.
