No tutorial that I know of.
If you're going to use VSPAERO, then you don't actually need to model
the propellers in detail. Instead, just add 'disk' components and
match their location/orientation/diameter to your props. Then, set
the RPM, CT, CP and whatnot in the VSPAERO GUI and go from there.
If you are using some other tool, that models the blades of the prop
in detail, you will want to use the Propeller component. OpenVSP has
the ability to import/export a generic blade element type file. So,
you can use your favorite BEM code to design a prop -- convert the
file -- and then read it into OpenVSP, creating a propeller component.
Or, you can design a prop in OpenVSP and then dump out a BEM file for
analysis in your favorite code.
