Hello everyone,
I need to clarify a few doubts about the non-dimensionalization of derivatives in the stability analysis, particularly regarding the p, q, and r derivatives.

If I understood correctly, OpenVSP computes these derivatives with respect to the non-dimensional values of p, q, and r.
Therefore, if I need to obtain the derivatives with respect to the dimensional (real) angular rates, I should apply the following conversions:

Clp (1/s) = Clp_VSP * bref/2*Vref
Cmq (1/s) = Cmq_VSP * cref/2*Vref
Cnr (1/s) = Cnr_VSP * bref/2*Vref

Are these conversions correct, or does OpenVSP use a different convention?

In addition, I read in another discussion on this forum that it might be possible to estimate Cm_alphadot using the value of Cmq, but I didn’t fully understand how to do that.

Is this somehow related to the non-dimensionalization described above?

Thank you in advance!
