Problem sending traffic via vpn tunnel

Hello,

I have installed the virtual appliance of openvpn in a ESX5 infrastructure. The installation was ok, but and I can connect to the vpn in a windows 7 box.

The problem is that I can't send the traffic via the vpn tunnel. I uncomment the line redirect-gateway def1 in the config file, but when I do a tracert to google.com for example all the traffic goes throw the normal interface, not throw the vpn.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi. You and and other people that have the same problem.

 

You have to enable/accept  promiscuous mode for the interfaces.
