ovpn.home.net in /etc/hosts

My hosts file looks like this:


# Do not remove the following line, or various programs
# that require network functionality will fail.
127.0.0.1 ovpn.home.net localhost.localdomain localhost
::1 localhost6.localdomain6 localhost6



Why is ovpn.home.net in there? What needs that to function?

Is just a name for the machine.

Um.. that is saying the vpn appliance is actually at another location so yea.. I call nuts!
This is not adding up here don't ya think? Localhost is and always should be HOME, not at a mispelled subdomain at a domain hosted by hostgator. Sounds fishy captain.
