Hello,

I have come across OpenVidu after weeks of trying other tools. I want to use it in a lan for translations without exposing it to the internet due to veeery low bandwith at the location. At the moment I have problems with the certificates etc., so the websocket connection the clients want to establish to the server fails. I guess this relates to coturn stuff. Can someone tell me how to setup openvidu properly so that new clients in the network can connect to it without manually installing a certificate? Security is not that important so switching to http and ws is also an option.

Thank you!

You have to verify how mayor browsers behave with SSL certificates and no internet connection. I don't have experience in that environment, but possibly you have to generate a custom certificate to act as Certificate Authority (CA) and install it into the browser. In that way, certificates signed with that CA, will be valid for the browser.
