Hi all,
Anyone know how to display pinyin above Chinese characters? MS Office
has a feature called Asian language pronunciation guide, that allows
you to select characters, and turn pinyin on or off above each
character. This has been immensely helpful to me as a student. Is
there a way to do this using openvanilla, or any of the mac word
processors?

you could try OpenOffice.org for Mac (or NeoOffice, might for now be
easier; it's the same software but more Mac-native). If I remember
well, it has such a feature, but don't kill me if I'm wrong :).
