IDE for uNiBoard

I had this thought of having IDE for uNiBoard, please leave your
insights here...

If we can come up with the standard api for uniboard drivers for LCD, UART, SPI... than it will be great.

If you are thinking of IDE it should support simulator facility, like as one of the student did it for http://code.google.com/p/uniboard/wiki/Telnet_Server_implementation

I Dont know why Atmel didnot provide linux version for AVR, was just surfing found that atmel provide IDE in linux for AVR32, havenot tried but you can try do still can we complle and simulate the programs for AVR.
