Guidance on OTP 2.5 Upgrade Issue

Hi everyone,

I hope you can help me with an issue I’m experiencing. I have been working on my project using OTP 1.5 and have achieved good results. For a while now, I’ve been trying to upgrade to OTP 2.5, but I’m not seeing the same level of performance as with the previous version. Despite tweaking various parameters, the results still aren’t perfect.

Here’s the issue: in real life, if I need to travel somewhere, I typically have five options where routes 1, 2, and 3 are direct, and routes 4 and 5 involve transfers. With OTP 1.5, I get all these five options as expected. However, with OTP 2.5, I only see routes 1 and 2, and it doesn’t show any more results. Even though routes 1 and 2 might be the best or most preferred options, in reality, there are more available, which aren’t being displayed.

We have already tried adjusting parameters like Walk Reluctance and Search Window, but these haven’t improved the situation. Do you know if there’s any other parameter I should be incorporating or any other tweaks that might help?
