Hello,
for your information, an open source library called gtfslib-python has just been released, which might be interesting for OTP users :
https://github.com/afimb/gtfslib-python/
Gtfslib reads GTFS files and computes various stats and indicators about Public Transport network.
Gtfslib can also be used purely as a Data Access Layer in other applications, including in other languages, via the database and DAO.
Please feel free to test and reuse the library.

The library has been developed by Laurent Gregoire, Mecatran and is supported by The French minister of transport Agency for Ticketing and Multimodal Information (AFIMB).
For more info see https://github.com/afimb/gtfslib-python/wiki

Very cool!  Could you submit a pull request here to add this to the awesome-transit list under APIs?

https://github.com/luqmaan/awesome-transit

Thanks,
