First I would like to congratulate you for the amazing paper "Synthesis of phylogeny and taxonomy into a comprehensive tree of life". I am researcher in biogeography area and the tree of life will be very helpful in my studies. I wonder if it is available, or if you could send me a list of phylogenetic tree tips "terminals" that were based on taxonomic information and a list of tips based on phylogenetic studies. We don't have these lists easily available for download. Once we release the next version of the tree (expected later this month), the download will include both the full tree and the tree with phylogeny-only tips. Comparing these two trees will give you the lists that you need.
