Hi,
I'm getting ready to tackle this enhancment
(https://github.com/OpenTreeOfLife/taxomachine/issues/97), and the
obvious solution is to add an index to the taxodb to map source
identifiers to nodes. But that's a pretty big index to be adding, so
I'm asking if there are other approaches. If not, should I add a new
command to the standalone taxomachine to build the index, or just add it
into loadtaxsyn?

Thanks,

Peter

I don’t know if you mean other engineering approaches that might be specific to neo4j or something else, but if you mean neo4j, I think the big index is it basically. Seems to make sense just to add it to loadtaxsyn, but others might have another perspective
