Hi, today I had the opportunity to do some scans. The pages in the attached PDF include:

Pages 1-3: Three different editions of Tanakh that apply long versus short metagim (these are not just any editions, but three of the most important and popular editions in Israel today). On page 3 (Mosad ha-Rav Kook edition as reprinted in the Daat Mikra series) the distinction is not so clear, because even though the editor plainly states how and why he has used two kinds, the publisher didn't choose highly distinct fonts. But it is still possible to see.

Page 4: A very important and popular edition that makes a very vivid distinction between sheva na/nah and between dagesh kal/hazak. The are many other editions that do a similar thing, but I don't have access to them with the scanner. Ely, if you could scan in addition a page of Rav Mazouz's Tikkun Korim Ish Mazliah that would be amazing.

Well, I'm no expert but from my experience when you start looking at dots as OCR you may consider all sorts of stains as proper Niqqud (True story, happened when I tried helping out with Waldstein's Dictionary as part of Maxim Iorsh's initiative: http://culmus.sourceforge.net/dictionary/waldstein/index.html).

Kind regards,

Hi,
One of the picture I took was of the Tikun Korim of Ish matzlich.
Or did you mean that you prefer me to scan it rather than take pics?

Ely
