problems with different colours on same level

hello, since i installed opentoonz i have problems drawing with different colors over each other. i don't know if it's something in settings of my pc, or in the opentoonz, but when i have two colours, for exemple blue and red, and i draw with red (opentoonz raster layer), then want to draw over it with blue, blue just goes sort of under and just seeps through in some places? but not everywhere, just in the center of the brush usually. without brush it is somehow manageable, but if i have selected brushes, it's even worse. is that just how opentoonz works and i'm using it wrong somehow, or did anyone else have this problem? because i can't even colour properly how i'm used to and everything has sharp edges

Yes, that can happen.

But it varies, depending which level type and which brush you're using. 

For best results, tick the Pencil option on the toolbar if you have it.
