@Juls

If you are familiar to Blender3D, I will tell you this tool is very much alike to the one called Thickness on the GreasePencil panel. Its name is self explanatory, but in OpenToonz it works in a more subtle way so you might not see the differences if you do not know how to apply it

A quick test:
- Open OT and add a ToonzRaster Level (it only works with this kind of level)
- Select the Brush tool and set the size from 1 min to 10 maximum, for instance
- Start on your left side and draw a straight line to the other end of the screen starting with a slight pressure of your brush and gradually increase its pressure while you draw the line to your right.
- Select the FingerTool: there are only two options, Size and Invert. Set size to 50
- Start "brushing" the line at your left (the thinner part) just like you were drawing with it all the way to the end right. It will Increase the thickness of your line, while checking the Invert box will Decrease its thickness. It is more evident when applied to thin lines

You have to "finger" your line-draw several times till your desire

Something that might be implemented for this tool would be an option/slide for enlarge its power

It seems not working here, I am brushing many times in (2) and it keeps as (1).

This is the only change I experienced brushing something with this tool:

  Thank you anyway, I hope not to have to use this tool, was just curiosity :).

Well... it is not so clear by the way.
But using your last image, the FingerTool may be well used for filling small Areas when there is still some background showing through a filled shape...
