mesh not aligned

so I made a mesh for my character and everytime I make the mesh its always to the left of my character and not aligned.

I tried connecting the character to the mesh in the schematic, I tried moving the centre of the character but nothing works.

Ensure you're not doing transformations in the original level, only in the mesh level.
