In the Xsheet right-click in an empty cell and select “load level”. Then select your .psd file, and click on “load.” You may see a dialogue asking if you want to load or import the file. You can select either option, but if you aren’t planning on further changes in Photoshop, I recommend choosing “import”.
Next you need to choose how you are loading the file - as a single image, as frames (each layer displays as a frame in a single column) or as columns which separates groups into their own columns. There are a few group options you can choose between when loading in columns. Click on ok.
The imported drawings will not be directly editable in OT, though they can be keyframed. If you do want to be able to use the brushes/eraser/select tool on your .psd drawings in OT, you’ll need to make a raster Level to the left of your psd column in the Xsheet (or above in the timeline). Select both levels and then choose Xsheet->Merge Levels from the program menu. This makes the left/top raster level an editable version of your psd column. Watch out though, the merging process deletes the psd file (which is why I recommend importing over loading).
