I've made a traditional animation with camera movement on Opentoonz and was wondering if it's possible to render the animation in mov or mp4. I'd heard that on windows it was common for the mov option to not show up, since it needed quicktime. But I'm using opentoonz on mac and the option for it isn't there.
The only options coming up are tiff and png, but if I were to render it in drawings I'd have 155 frames, all of which I can't put in my editor since it doesn't have a feature for that. It mean a great deal if someone could help me figure out a way around this problem!

You need to add Ffmpeg to be able to export to mp4. Once you have it downloaded, in OpenToonz preferences under Import/Export, you need to select the Ffmpeg folder and then restart. That will enable both mp4 and animated gif formats for rendering.

Make sure to download a release of Ffmpeg that includes Ffprobe - if you want animated gifs.

I can only seem to find tutorials that help with linking ffmpeg with opentoonz on windows. Can the same tutorials be used for mac or linux?
