Is there a version of OpenToonz compatible with OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5?

There isn't really much to elaborate on the subject - my computer's almost seven years old and refuses to update, but I'm in dire need of an animation programme at least a little more specialised than Photoshop.

I had 1.1.2 running on 10.9.5 but ended up updating to Sierra. I don’t see why 1.1.3 would be any different. Have you tried to install and run into issues?

the morevna build run pretty good on OSX 10.11

Also, the latest nightly build is even better than the current Morevna release on 10.11.6 and 10.13.1.

How and where could I find version 1.1.2? And yes, I've attached a screenshot of the message that pops up whenever I try to open the application. Thank you for replying!

Since you are on a Mac, look for the package file at the bottom (after the long list of additions, enhancements and fixes).

You'll find it in the Downloads section.
