I dont have a scanner yet, this was taken with my phone camera and cleaned up with OpenToonz :)


It's amazing how good is the cleanup module in OpenToonz!

very good drawing strokes ! You can try this to have gradient : https://workflowy.com/s/JtI13Zub8a#/1b61bf4b5c8a remember then delete black in "Color blending > Color indexes"

Beautiful drawing and cleanup! I love that you did the shading lines in red like a traditional anime studio. Do you have formal animation training or are you just a hobbyist?

I don't have any animation training, I'm just self taught :)

I'm influenced too much by Miyazaki style of anime, minimalism and realism.

Same here :). Being a fan of Miyazaki and Ghibli it only makes sense to learn OpenToonz! For years I heard that they used Toonz and I always wondered why they didn't use RETAS or ToonBoom, but now after seeing the software it makes a lot of sense to me. The layout, the process of animating and the general feel of the software is perfect. Once they get all of the bugs out then I think it'll be my go-to software of choice too. Best of luck! I can't wait to see what you animate.
