Hi everyone,
I did a few commits that Rodney already reviewed and I thought I do a little introduction. So I am not a real developer but head of production at Woodblock. A few weeks ago I started to try out Claude Code and was scared and amazed by the output I received.
After building a few plugins I wanted to see if I can contribute to open source projects. I picked OT because I am following new releases and its reputation that it's crashing too much. It would be great to have Open Toonz as a DCC that is on a similar level such as Blender.
Since I use Fedora Linux as my main laptop I started with getting it work and Claude helped me to create some patches to make it work.
But the amount of text and comments, amount of PRs is getting out of control quickly. Rodney helped me a lot and I am learning a lot.
For now, I focus on getting my PRs slowly merged when everything is fine. But for the future, I want to ask you how you feel with finding bugs and making it more stable using Claude?
In addition, I feel like reviews still have be done by real humans, there are just too many errors happening. And creating too many PRs will cause too much chaos.
