I would love to be able to use OpenToonz to make game art! A spritesheet export option would make this way easier!

There's been some discussion on using OpenToonz for game art (see: https://github.com/opentoonz/opentoonz/issues/173). It seems that the main issues is figuring out how the scripting works.

It could be possible that you can save spritesheets with the current build. I haven't dug very deep into ToonzScript, but this doesn't seem too unreasonable. Here's the scripting manual if you want to check it out: http://www.toonz.com/htm/support/scripts/ToonzScript.pdf

Motion monster, an alternative opentoonz release, has the option to export to spritesheets.

it also has some other handy adjustments, like sound on the preview etc.

Barricados-

I'm glad you've been able to use the feature in MotionMonster.  I have stopped working on MotionMonster since the features I've added are now making their way into the main OpenToonz.  Sound playback in the viewer is now in the latest nightly version and hopefully spritesheet export will be merged soon too.  I will leave MotionMonster in place until the remaining features are added, but after that I will be removing MotionMonster from github.  It's been just too time consuming trying to update two different versions of the code base.
