"The current tool cannot be used on a Vector Layer" Error

When I first got OpenToonz I was able to use the Finger Tool and Paint Brush Tool without this error, but when I opened it again it kept showing me this error! Any idea for what I can do fix this?

Hi Alex,

The FINGER and PAINT BRUSH tools are ONLY used for Bitmap/Raster layers. So, you have to add a Raster Layer ( called LEVEL) in order for them to work

I get the same error. I get an error when I try to use the finger tool in a Raster layer.

dude go to new level and make a new level after that under types keep toonz vector level after that u wiill e able to use it

Actually both of those tools only work on Toonz Raster Levels (the green ones). They will not work on vector or raster levels.
