Dear OpenToonz users and developers, how can I make the cels of this level to belong all to one level? How to make the white line like in the left coloumn.

Thank you very much!

There are two things at play here, moving drawings from one level to another and extending a drawing over multiple frames.

To extend the drawings over multiple frames select the cell and at the bottom you'll see a fat bar that can be dragged downward to extend the sequence.
Then once you've got that in place remove/delete the other references.

As for moving drawings from one Level to another, there are several methods.
A quick method would be to select the left bar of the cell and drag it over into the desired level.

Now, having said that this might not go far enough.
I often want my drawings to be in the same Level Strip for drawing purposes.
To accomplish this I usually open the Level Strip for one sequence, select the desired drawings and copy (Control C)
Then I open the Level Strip for the other sequence and paste (Control V).
Then once I have everything in the Level Strip as desired I clean up or discard the others.
(Note:  I rarely delete them... I just don't use them in my xsheet)

Thanks a lot! As I understand, I have to copy every drawing separetely into the level strip?
Is there a possibility to simply unify the level?

I'm afraid I don't quite understand the question.
Perhaps you can share a screen capture/video of what you are seeing as that will make it crystal clear.

The image on the right appears to suggest that all frames are exactly the same.
The image on the left suggests they may be the same but are entered into the xsheet separately.
So, that might be the first question to get out of the way...
Are all of these images the same image?

We'll move on as that may or may not be the case.
What I'm suggesting is that the image on the left consists of multiple Levels (each cell containing a different level)
The image on the right suggests every cell contains a frame from the same level.
There are several ways to move drawings into the same level but that appears to be your dilemma.

You can:
- Manually copy/paste each of those images into the same level
- Reorder/rename the images so that OpenToonz recognizes the images as a continuous sequence
- Some other method that currently escapes me.

In some instances it may be worth the effort to render out your sequence 'as is' and then reimport into OpenToonz. They should then all be part of the same Level.  If your drawings are simple this may be the best way forward.

Something worth investigating... and others can comment on this... is the Merge Levels option.
I've yet to have any success with that but that might well be the answer.
.

As I understand, these are the downloaded images.
One question: explain step by step your actions, how do you download them? One by one?

Thank you vey much. "What I'm suggesting is that the image on the left consists of multiple Levels (each cell containing a different level)
The image on the right suggests every cell contains a frame from the same level." You are right.  How can I name them, so that OpenToonz recognises them as a continuous sequence?
"In some instances it may be worth the effort to render out your sequence 'as is' and then reimport into OpenToonz. " could you please explain me how to do that?

I just drag them all into Open Toonz and then Open Toonz makes a separate Level from every image. If I try to rename them in Open Toonz with the rename funktion it tells me

and then

and then OpenToonz crashes.

OpenTooz should recognize your images as a sequence. Look at these two screenshots. On one of them OpenToonz displays 16 individual images and the other only one, but in brackets we see [16] It is a sequence loaded into a level without any problems.

In order to make such a sequence, rename all images of the sequence in a special way. Namely:
1. The name of the file (name).
2. Lower underscore (_).
3. Point.
4. A four-digit sequence number from 0001, 0002, ... (do not use 0000)

For example:

name_.0001
name_.0002
...

For mass renaming of files you can use various editors, I personally use Total Commander.

As these are Toonz Raster Levels, you can use Xsheet ->Merge Tlv Levels

You will need to do the following:
- Keep the blank Toonz Raster level in Col1
- Take each frame in Col2 and move into a separate column keeping the same frame number.
- Select columns Col1 and Col2 and use Xsheet->Merge Tlv Levels
- Keep repeating select and merge until you have merged them all into 1

I only suggest 2 at a time due to a bug that will crash if you try to merge 3+. I have a fix in place for that, but hasn't been merged into OT yet.

The Levels are Ink&Paint Levels thats why I cant use Merge Tlv Levels Tool. Any idea how I can change the Level Type?

You can merge levels of the same type. For two Toonz Raster levels, use Merge TLV Levels, use Merge Levels for vector levels. To convert one type of level to another, use Export Level, or Cells> Merge.

Look at this video, here I turn one type of level into another.

Your columns are the color green which tells me they are Toonz Raster Levels. It won't allow you to use Merge Tlv Levels?
