So, you want to add multiple images to a level. You can do this all in one batch, but maybe you decide you want to add more images later? This process is not exactly intrinsic, but it is possible!
  1. Save your image as name.0001.png (or JPEG or whatever). The rest of your images in that level should be named the same but with a different number and in the same folder. The number will correlate to where it appears in the GUI, but doesn't affect the animation itself.
  2. Import your first image into your project. You can do this by right clicking a cell and clicking "load level" and select the image(s) you want. I strongly advice you load, not import. This way, you can edit the image in whatever application and update it automatically in your project and add more frames with ease.
  3. Now, in your "basics" tab, right click in the window where your image is displayed in. Now click "insert" and a new blank frame should appear before a frame. Alternatively, to add new frames in batch click "add frames". Do not ask what the numbers mean, I have no idea. I just go with "insert"
  4. A blank frames should now have appeared. Their position will correlate to your image file names. Right click a blank box and click "reload". If you've named them correctly, your image should appear! Voila!
  5. If reloading causes duplicate images, reload all the duplicates and it should solve itself. This has to do with the image file name number and the changes to the frame positions.
  6. If you have made changes to your frames in another application, you can update them in Opentoonz by reloading them too.
What's that? You want to delete frames?
...
I've yet to figure that out too. For some reason "delete" does not delete. A bug perhaps?

As far as deleting goes, when you delete from the Timeline/Xsheet, you are just removing the exposure of the frame from the scene. To actually delete a frame, try deleting from the Level Strip.

If your delete key isn't working and you are using a mac, try FN+delete - our delete key is the same as the backspace key on a PC.
