the main issue i had after following various howtos was that the program had troubles with the main "scan area.txt", wich wasn't properly configured. first make a copy of the txt to have an orginal. than open the program, setup levels as you need them, then load as config the scan_area.txt, bring up area setup panel by checking it in the menu, and and mess around with it a bit. the thing i did was deleting the presets and re-entering them as they were, this way apparently i made sure that the .txt was actually modified and therefore "compiled". save the new config (overwrite? yes, cause u made a copy) then quit and restart. this was all i needed to make it work so i hope it is of some help to u. it's not a must-use software, but if you happen to have paper keyframes, as i do, it's nice to import them as levels already named.
