I did a screencapture video to show exactly whats going on. That is here : https://youtu.be/BzjvsnS1BzY

And you can see from my reaction in the video that it is random each time you import something if a fill is going to work or not. Before recording the video the tires in the vector drawn van will not let me fill, but in the video they do. There are still other parts of the van that do not let me fill for no particular reason.

Hopefully this is something that can be fixed with a new release but its possible its just part of how the program deals with vectors.

Have you tried to ungroup the drawings? I had a problem like this before and ungrouping the shapes solved it to me. You see that blue box when selecting the shapes? That means that those shapes are groups and they behave weirdly if you try to paint them. Just right click on them with the selection tool and ungroup them. I believe you can select them all at once and ungroup them altogether. Please report back with the results, I'm interested to hear about your results.

I tried that and it lead to most of those objects being fillable (not all) but also other things losing their fill and then becoming not fillable
here is a another screencapture https://youtu.be/NbKaKrRcHUU

wow, i have no idea what's going on. Those are some weird bugs. At the moment I think your best (or only option) is to export the svg as a raster image like bmp, png or tiff, and use the convert to vector option in OpenToonz.

what is "remove vector overflow"?  another option that might be worth exploring is "enter group"

I'll play with it when i get home and see if i can figure anything out. let me know if you solve it by then.

I really have no idea ive been googleing what a "vector overflow" is but i cant seem to find any good explanations and so far it doesnt seem to do anything to my files.

Ill check out enter group now

I have a fix for this but it's too complicated to explain in text. I'll post a video tonight with details.
