Hi.
Im running on Windows 7 and the current latest build of OpenToonz 1.1.2

My issue is that the PSD (Photoshop CS6) files I drag onto the X sheet (or open using the Browser) do not allow any manipulation once displayed.

My cursor turns into a red circle with a line through it while the image in the Level window shows a grey circle with a line through it under the left of the image!
Clicking using any of the editing tools give me the error message "The current frame is locked: any editing is forbidden."

I was wondering if there was a way around this?

As a side note, I have noticed that these PSD images appear is both purple and blue Columns but I do not know what these colors correspond to!

Thanks.

A PSD file that when imported into OpenToonz cannot be edited will demonstrate the problem and would be most helpful.
So a link to a PSD file (the original if possible and it can be shared or if that file cannot be shared a similar file that has been tested and also can't be edited.

Hello I am having this same problem, perhaps it's something obvious I'm missing?  I imported a psd and assigned the layers to different columns, but I am forbidden from moving or editing within any of the imported frames.
I am using the Mac OS version in Sierra btw.  Version 1.1.3

I am attaching an example PSD that was created in Autodesk Sketchbook on my iPad ....

OT does not support editing frames/levels loaded directly from a PSD file because it cannot write any changes back to the PSD file.

You would need to manually copy the frames from the PSD loaded levels and paste them into new Raster levels if you want to edit them from within OT.

Would be nice if OT gave the option to automatically convert to editable OT Raster levels when loading or a Level PSD conversion function, similar to the Convert to vector menu option.
