After watching a video about using vectors, I couldn't replicate what was shown. I can't find  "Auto Close, Auto Group, and Auto Fill" - The instructor said these check boxes are to the right of Pressure, but they aren't on my screen. Maybe he was using an older version of OT? I'm using the current version - 1.7.1.

Meanwhile, I somehow Did manage to turn on Auto Fill because now when I'm drawing in a vector level, whenever I happen to close an area, it's automatically filled in and I Don't Want That - not for what I'm doing. ALSO, when I start drawing - the work area screen turns Red.

What the--?

The auto-close and get options are in Tahoma, not OpenToonz.
The reason your closed shapes are showing as filled is an option you've turned on from the View menu. Possibly the fill check or gap check. Just turn it off.

Darren, you've rescued me again. Thank ye! - I turned both options off just now and all is well. I turned them on while trying to follow instructions in a video tute, then forgot that I'd done that.

By the way, the tute I'm talking about is the one about Vectors you posted a few days ago. There was no mention that the tute wasn't for OT - I assumed it was. I see now that right at the start it says he's working in Tahoma, but I didn't notice that the other day. The Tahoma screen looks so much like OT, I thought I was watching OT in action.

OK - got this straight now. Thanks again.
