Hi,
I have created an animated logo in Opentoonz.
I am trying to export it with a transparent background.
I have tried exporting a series on PNGs and then recombining then in Quicktime,
but when QT imports the images it replaces the transparent background with black.
What else can i try?
I am using MAX OS Catalina 10.15.7
Thanks
karl

When you render the series of PNGs, as long as you didn't turn off the alpha channel in the PNG options (in the Output Settings window), it should render transparent without issue. At least it does for me in 10.15.6.

When I look at the png with Finder, I see a very dark background only because I have Dark mode on, and Finder itself is dark. The transparency is clearly working since the background uses the color from Finder instead of white or etc. If I post the same png on a website, the background of the website shows through without issue.

Maybe there's an issue with how Quicktime displays or handles transparency.

Thank you for your reply.
I was mistaken, the black background in the QT movie, caused me to think the transparency had been lost.
It had not.
QT created the movie correctly with transparency, I did not see it until i imported the movie into Apple Motion.
Thanks
