According to this message from last year (http://www.cgchannel.com/2020/03/opentoonz-developers-release-opentoonz-1-4/) there is a new stop motion panel feature with support for Canon DSLR. I can't seem to find any more info though, so just curious if this is a real thing and if there are any other sources I could use to learn more.

I use Tahoma2D, a fork of OpenToonz, and it's showing in there and has additional stop motion features: https://tahoma2d.org

But if you want to use it in the original version of OpenToonz, I think you'll have to install a nightly build as the download on the main OpenToonz page is a year old. https://github.com/opentoonz/opentoonz_nightlies/releases
