Hi everyone,

I am having problem with creating plastic mesh. I use PNG images for puppet animation. I import them to open toonz and animate. I add every part separately to columns and scale them accordingly. Also align them in schematic.
The problem is when I create mesh for a particular column, the mesh forms in the shape of imported size and place. It doesn't fit or align to the scaled size nor could I adjust the mesh. Mesh parent's the image, so if I try moving or scaling mesh with animate tool, Image also gets moved or scaled.
Since I scale with animate tool, it sets key by default. Deleting the key does no good. I tried everything possible. But nothing works. May be, I am not aware of root of the problem.
Kindly help me.

The problem is that you're scaling the columns with the original drawings in them. You have to scale the plastic columns. By scaling the drawings, you're taking them out of the mesh.

Thank you so much darren... I worked around the problem... You gave a great advice and It helped me a lot...

Here is how I got around (in case anyone faces the same problem):
1. I was not aware that I need to change "output settings to 1280*720" for every new scene as I use 720p output.. By default its 1080p...
2. I need to import parts of image to fit the frame... Or apply plastic mesh before scaling any imported PNG image and scale the mesh alone as you have adviced...

I am also happy and proud to say that I am your student... I use your youtube playlist to get around with opentoonz... You are a great teacher darren...
As always its a DARREN T 🥰✌️...
